Our timber framed home is perfect for your intimate wedding or special event. The backyard can be arranged to suit up to 60 guests and the home is perfect for up to 18 people; inclusive of the Champagne Suite meant for the guests of honour.

How many people does the space fit?

The home can sleep 18 people (4 bedrooms and an open loft have 9 beds total). There are 3 full bathrooms on 2 floors.

The backyard is ideal for an event less than 60 people and suits numerous types of table arrangements.

Do you provide event equipment?

We provide specialized lighting over the backyard. You are responsible for all other necessary event equipment.

Are there a minimum number of nights required to book?

From the last Friday in June to the Friday before Labour Day in September there is a minimum one-week required for all bookings. Bookings in high season begin and end on a Friday.

During the rest of the year it’s a minimum of two nights.

Is there any extra cost aside from the house rental?

There is an event fee of $1000 for all events. Additionally, you are required to pay for an additional septic service ($300) or you are welcome to rent your own porta-potties.

Are pets allowed?

For an additional fee, pets are allowed on the property.

Can I view the property first?

Of course! Email us at info@alternateroute.ca or call 604-302-6711 or 604-818-5595 to arrange. Please do not visit the property without an appointment so as not to disturb other guests.

Are there hotels near by?

There are no hotels in Scotch Creek but there are quite a few AirBnB’s available and the largest provincial campground is 2 km away.

The closest towns for hotels are Sorrento and Chase, BC.
